On December 18 and 19, the Zonal State Archives of Molodechno<\/strong> hosted an exciting event, during which five groups (more than a hundred children) from the National Children’s Educational and Health Center \u00abZubrenok\u00bb were received in turn. The tour of the archive became a real holiday for the young guests, who listened with great interest about the work of archivists and the features of storing documents.<\/p>\n

During the tour, the children were shown career guidance videos that allowed them to better understand the importance of archiving. The guests were also able to visit the storage facilities and reading room, and get acquainted with the most interesting documents in the archive museum. Particular attention was paid to practical skills: the children took part in a master class on repair, filing and numbering of cases. This activity aroused keen interest among the children, and many of them happily tried themselves in the role of archivists.<\/p>\n

The most eloquent response to the event was the statement of one of the participants: \u00abI already want to work for you!\u00bb This enthusiasm and desire to learn more about the profession of an archivist became a real confirmation of the success of the meeting.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, the archive staff were pleasantly surprised by the signature applause from the \u00abcrammers\u00bb, who expressed their gratitude for the exciting and educational day. We hope that this event will inspire children to further study the history and professions associated with archival work.<\/p>\n
