On December 17, 2024, the opening of the exhibition \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb about children and for children\u00bb<\/strong> dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Belarusian cinema<\/strong> took place in the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI).<\/p>\n

The director of the archive-museum E.A.Makarenko<\/strong> addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech, in which she emphasized the role of BGAMLI in preserving and popularizing documents on the history of Belarusian cinema, and spoke about joint projects implemented with Belarusfilm during the anniversary year.<\/p>\n

Scriptwriter N.I.Razumovskaya<\/strong> noted the importance of the painstaking work of archivists who collected a unique collection of materials reflecting the history of the film studio.<\/p>\n

Leading archivist N.A.Mizon<\/strong> spoke about the main idea of the exhibition \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb about children and for children\u00bb, which presents archival documents related to the so-called \u00abchildren\u2019s\u00bb Belarusian cinema. Using this part of the documentary collection of the archive-museum as an example, one can trace the development of Belarusian cinema and the film studio \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb as a whole.<\/p>\n

The exhibition includes documents of feature, television, animated films (literary and director\u2019s scripts, general estimates, photo test albums, minutes of artistic councils, etc.), which allow you to get acquainted with the complex process of producing films for the most demanding audience – children and teenagers.<\/p>\n

The exhibition \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb about children and for children\u00bb is available for viewing in the reading room of the Belarusian State Academic Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong>. We invite everyone interested in the history of cinema, children’s films and the work of Belarusfilm to visit BGAMLI and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the magical world of cinema.<\/p>\n
