On November 27-28, 2024, in Minsk, on the basis of the state \u00abNational Historical Archives of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>, the final stage of the competition \u00abThe Best Archivist of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> was held, the theme of which was defined as \u00abBelarus remembers … Little-known facts about the Great Patriotic War and the restoration of the national economy in the post-war period in archival documents\u00bb<\/strong>. 28 archivists from all regions of the country participated in the competition.<\/p>\n

From the State Archives of the Gomel Region, archivist of the 2nd qualification category Victoria Evgenievna Rudenko<\/strong> participated in the competition with the competition work \u00abGenocide of the civilian population of the Gomel region on the pages of archival documents\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Based on the results of the work of the competition committee, the laureates were announced, who were colleagues of the State Archives of the Brest Region, the ZGA of Rechitsa and the ZGA of Novogrudok. The competition work of the archivist of the State Archives of Belarus Victoria Evgenievna Rudenko was awarded a certificate of the participant of the competition \u00abThe Best Archivist\u00bb and a memorable gift. The award ceremony was attended by the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management O.L.Voinov and the Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions S.V.Potapenko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The gift to the participants of the competition from the Department of Archives and Records Management was a tour of the National Historical Archive of Belarus, where they got acquainted with historical artifacts of the Radziwill family tree, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.<\/p>\n
