On November 27, 2024, the State Archives of the Gomel Region<\/strong>, based on the \u00abMuseum of the Battle of the Dnieper\u00bb in the city of Loyev<\/strong>, took part in summing up the results of the final regional competition \u00abYoung Archivist\u00bb<\/strong>. The final of the competition \u00abYoung Archivist\u00bb brought together 18 schoolchildren from all over the Gomel region. Participants presented local history works in two nominations – \u00abThe Beginning of the Liberation of the Territory of Belarus\u00bb and \u00abOperation Bagration and its Results\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Based on the results of the competition, the best works of students were determined. The winners of the competition were: student of secondary school No.75 of Gomel V.Starovoytov<\/strong>, student of Porechskaya secondary school of Oktyabrsky district A.Kostyukevich<\/strong>, student of secondary school No.12 of Zhlobin T.Zhitko<\/strong>, student of Sutkovskaya secondary school of Loevsky district A.Pozdnyak<\/strong>, student of secondary school No.2 named after I.M.Shavrei of Narovlya D.Skripka<\/strong>, student of Gomel regional cadet school N.Baranovsky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts in a ceremonial atmosphere. The participants of the event laid flowers at the monument on the Alley of Heroes who died in the Battle of the Dnieper.<\/p>\n
