On November 15, 2024, the State Archive of the Mogilev Region institution hosted a presentation of the Handbook on Funds of Personal Origin of the State Archive of the Mogilev Region institution.<\/p>\n

The presentation was attended by: Yulia Klintsova<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Mandatory Legal expertise, coordination of the activities of the \u00abone window\u00bb services, archives and records Management of the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee and Elena Nabokova<\/strong>, Director of the institution \u00abState Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev region\u00bb. Among the guests of honor were the widow of the famous Mogilev journalist Viktor Antonovich Yushkevich<\/strong> \u2013 Elena Ivanovna Yushkevich<\/strong> and Mikhail Petrovich Bulavatsky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In her welcoming speech to the participants of the presentation, Svetlana Sharaeva<\/strong>, director of the Mogilev Region State Archive institution, noted the importance of working with the personal archives of people extraordinary for the city of Mogilev and the region, informed about the work that has been carried out and continues to be carried out to replenish the archive with funds of personal origin. <\/p>\n

Alexander Petukhov<\/strong>, the leading archivist of the Department of scientific use of documents and information (compiler of the Handbook), told the audience about the history of the creation and structure of the publication, demonstrated examples of documents.<\/p>\n

The directory contains information about funds of personal origin that were deposited in the institution \u00abState Archive of the Mogilev region\u00bb from 1962 to 2023.<\/p>\n

The publication contains information about the biography and composition of documents of 35 fund-makers of the archive. It allows you to look at the lives and activities of people who left their mark on the history of the Mogilev region of the XIX-XX centuries.<\/p>\n

The directory is provided with portraits of fund-makers, a list of abbreviations, personal and geographical indexes.<\/p>\n

The publication is intended for employees of archival institutions.<\/p>\n
