The children went on a sightseeing tour of the archive, got acquainted with the composition of the documents and their storage conditions.<\/p>\n

In the foyer of the archive, the participants of the tour were able to get acquainted with the exhibitions \u00abTheir feat is alive, unique and eternal\u00bb, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, and \u00abSign of trouble – OST\u00bb, telling about the Ostarbeiters of the Kobrin district, driven to forced labor in Germany during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

In the reading room of the archive, the children got acquainted with the exhibition \u00abReunification of Western Belarus with the BSSR. Kobrin region in documents of 1939-1941\u00bb, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus with the BSSR.<\/p>\n

The schoolchildren had a lesson \u00abHometown Kobrin\u00bb, during which the students recalled the centuries-old history of their city. They got acquainted with archival documents containing information about the coats of arms and flags of their hometown.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the children were shown a virtual exhibition \u00abKobrin – \u00abLittle Paris\u00bb, prepared as part of the virtual exhibition project \u00abCities of Belarus\u00bb.<\/p>\n
