Parental Love Week<\/strong> at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> is traditionally full of events.<\/p>\n

On October 14, Mother’s Day, a meeting of the work collective was held. Deputy Director of the Archive E.A.Stukanova<\/strong> addressed the employees, congratulating colleagues on the holiday and announcing the start of Parental Love Week.<\/p>\n

Chairperson of the Trade Union Committee of the Archive T.A.Shevchenko<\/strong> announced a competition of children’s essays about mothers.<\/p>\n

Chairperson of the primary organization of the Belarusian Union of Women M.A.Starostenko<\/strong> called on colleagues to create an exhibition together called \u00abWarmth of the Parental Soul\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Traditionally, on behalf of the Director of the Archive, letters of gratitude were sent to the parents of the employees, emphasizing the successes and achievements of the archivists and expressing words of gratitude to the parents for the excellent upbringing of their children. In 2024, letters of gratitude were sent to 12 families!<\/p>\n

During Parental Love Week, according to the already established tradition, family members of the employees are invited to the archive. This year, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus were visited by Artur Zinchenko<\/strong>‘s mother and grandparents. They were given a tour of the archive, during which the guests saw how the archive’s work is organized, visited the workplace of their son and grandson, met his colleagues and, of course, visited the storage facility. The Zinchenko family was especially impressed by the original documents from the fund of the Belarusian Headquarters of the Partisan Movement about the participation of their relative Jose Fernandez in the partisan movement during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

On Father’s Day, October 21, a staff meeting was held in the archive, where the management congratulated the men.<\/p>\n

In the foyer of the archive, an exhibition \u00abWarmth of a Parent’s Soul\u00bb was presented, which presented family photographs from the albums of archive workers, as well as touching essays about their mother, written by the children of archivists. The children who took part in the essay competition received sweet gifts from the trade union.<\/p>\n
