On October 4, 2024, in the reading room of the institution \u00abState Archives of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong>, on the eve of the professional holiday of the Day of the Archivist, a round table was held on the topic: \u00abInstitution \u00abState Archives of the Gomel Region\u00bb at the present stage.\u00bb<\/p>\n

As part of the event, the director of the archive Andrei Nikolaevich Sushchevich held a presentation of the virtual exhibition \u00abInstitution \u00abState Archives of the Gomel Region\u00bb at the present stage\u00bb, prepared for the Day of the Archivist. The virtual exhibition tells about the heraldic symbols of the archive, the structure and staff, veterans and honored archivists, the main areas of work of structural divisions at the present stage.<\/p>\n

In addition, Andrei Nikolaevich told the participants of the round table about the great ideological work carried out by the archive among the youth and work collectives of the city of Gomel.<\/p>\n

The round table summed up the results of the archive’s work for 9 months of 2024 and planned new events to maintain the already achieved high professional level of work.<\/p>\n

In the second part of the event, a ceremonial meeting was held in honor of the professional holiday of the Archivist’s Day. The director of the archive Andrei Nikolaevich Sushchevich congratulated the staff on the upcoming professional holiday, and also conveyed congratulations to the archive’s staff from the director of the Department Oleg Leonidovich Voinov and the head of the main department of justice of the Gomel regional executive committee Artem Sergeyevich Kamalyev. In a solemn atmosphere, the director of the archive announced the gratitude of the main department of justice of the Gomel regional executive committee for conscientious work, responsible performance of official duties, high professionalism and connections with the celebration of the Archivist’s Day to the engineer of the first category Alla Petrovna Chubykalo.<\/p>\n

The Gomel regional organization of the Belarusian trade union of workers of state and other organizations joined in honoring archivists on the eve of the professional holiday. Honorary certificates were presented to the head of the department of accounting and preservation of documents Svetlana Anatolyevna Primakova and the head of the department of IPS and automated archival technologies Olga Vladimirovna Shurovskaya, gratitude was announced to the archivist of the 1st quarter of the cat. Tatyana Yuryevna Tishchenko and archivist Galina Aleksandrovna Gromiko.<\/p>\n
