On the first academic day of the year, the Director of the institution \u00abBelarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs\u00bb A.E.Rybakov<\/strong> met with first-year students of the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University<\/strong>. The meeting was organized by the Faculty of History and the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> in order to familiarize students studying in the specialties \u00abDocument Management\u00bb and \u00abArchival Science\u00bb with their future profession.<\/p>\n

A.E. Rybakov presented a report-presentation, thanks to which first-year students got an idea of the archival service of the Republic of Belarus, the tasks facing archival institutions, and the most significant projects being implemented. In his speech, he also focused on current scientific and methodological issues in the field of archival affairs and records management, the close relationship between document specialists and archivists in achieving the goal of preserving the documentary historical and cultural heritage of the country.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held in a friendly businesslike atmosphere and aroused genuine interest on the part of students.<\/p>\n
