On September 2, 2024, as part of the republican campaign \u00abArchives for School\u00bb, representatives of the National Historical Archives of Belarus<\/strong> visited the State Institution \u00abSecondary School No. 27\u00bb in Minsk.<\/p>\n

Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus Mikhail Glushakov<\/strong> was a guest at the ceremonial assembly dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year.<\/p>\n

Head of the Department of Research and Publication Activities Sergei Ryndin held the first lesson for middle school students on the topic \u00abWe have something to be proud of, we have something to cherish.\u00bb The lesson was held in the school assembly hall. The topic of the first lesson, determined by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, is aimed at strengthening patriotism among young citizens in the Year of Quality and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n

S. Ryndin highlighted the main achievements of our country over the years of independence in various fields: industry, agriculture, food security, space research, energy, transport, medicine, education, physical education and sports, culture.<\/p>\n

Particular attention was paid to the enormous documentary wealth stored by the National Historical Archives of Belarus. They allow us to explore the past of our Motherland from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century. Citizens and guests of our country can study their own family tree using the archive documents.<\/p>\n

At the end of the lesson, S. Ryndin presented the school with a memorable gift – a popular science book \u00abTo Keep Forever. Pages of the Past and Present of the National Historical Archives of Belarus\u00bb, published in 2023 and dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the archive.<\/p>\n

The National Historical Archives of Belarus expresses its sincere gratitude to the students and teaching staff of Secondary School No. 27 in Minsk (and personally to the director Marina Borisovna Mikhailichenko) for the hospitable reception.<\/p>\n
