On August 22, 2024, a meeting was held in Molodechno with Russian guests from the Foundation for the Preservation of Historical Memory and Support of Patriotic Initiatives \u00abPEACE FOR LIFE\u00bb and the autonomous non-profit organization \u00abCommunity of Descendants of Moscow Militiamen of the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>. The topic of this meeting was the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. Archivist of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents O. Berezovskaya gave a report on the topic \u00abGenocide during the Great Patriotic War on the Molodechno Land\u00bb based on documents stored in the archive. During the presentation, documents and testimonies of former prisoners of war of the concentration camp \u00abStalag-342\u00bb were demonstrated, testifying to the mass extermination of the country’s population. The topic of searching for little-known facts about the Great Patriotic War in archival documents and the development of archival work in this area was also touched upon.<\/p>\n

As part of this event, the institution \u00abZonal State Archive in Molodechno\u00bb demonstrated a display of mobile documentary exhibitions \u00abGenocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War according to archive documents\u00bb and \u00abTowards the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)\u00bb.<\/p>\n
