On July 17, 2024, as part of the republican information and educational campaign \u00abSTEP to success\u00bb, the director of the institution \u00abBelarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science\u00bb A.E.Rybakov<\/strong> met with the children who are recovering in the \u00abDream\u00bb camp in the Volozhin district of Minsk areas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The \u00abSTEP to Success\u00bb campaign<\/strong> is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> and is aimed at developing civic and patriotic consciousness among young people, popularizing family values, and the achievements of national culture in modern Belarus.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, A.E.Rybakov spoke about his life path, development in the profession, and successes achieved. The emphasis was placed on the fact that the main criterion for a person\u2019s success is his social recognition, which is achieved through determination and hard work, regardless of the chosen profession and field of activity.<\/p>\n

During the conversation, A.E.Rybakov spoke about the work of the Archive Service of the Republic of Belarus aimed at preserving the documentary heritage of the Belarusian people, exhibitions, presentations, and other events held by archival institutions, including those implemented within the framework of the \u00abArchives for Schools\u00bb project. The camp students were able to see images of archival documents from various historical eras when watching the video film \u00abArchives in the service of the country, society, and people\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Separately, A.E.Rybakov focused on current scientific and practical problems caused by the digital transformation of society, which document scientists and archivists are working on today.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held in dialogue mode, the students were able to ask questions that interested them, express their own opinions and judgments.<\/p>\n

The event ended with a collective viewing of the film \u00abLiberation\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, prepared by the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
