On July 12, 2024, a round table (seminar-meeting) was held with representatives of government bodies and public associations, dedicated to the Year of Quality<\/strong> and organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>. As part of this event, the round table participants got acquainted with the photo-documentary exhibitions \u00abUnder the Sign of Quality\u00bb and \u00abWe Stood and Won\u00bb, prepared by the State Institution \u00abNational Archives of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The photo-documentary exhibition \u00abUnder the Sign of Quality\u00bb<\/strong> presented archival documents from the funds of state authorities and administration of the BSSR on the history of awarding the State Mark of Quality of the USSR to products produced by Belarusian enterprises in various industries. Among them are minutes of meetings and decisions of state certification commissions, certificates of the work of enterprises preparing for certification, tasting sheets and more. These documents indicate that the combination of traditions and constant improvement of technology is a key factor in improving the quality and safety of Belarusian products. In addition to archival documents, the exhibition featured products from Soviet enterprises that were awarded the USSR State Quality Mark and which were kept in the families of archive workers for many years.<\/p>\n

The photo-documentary exhibition \u00abWe survived and won\u00bb<\/strong> is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The exhibition was prepared on the basis of documentary materials from the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus in collaboration with the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents. The exhibition tells about the events of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the courage and heroism of the people who defended their Motherland.<\/p>\n

The presented exhibitions aroused great interest among the round table participants.<\/p>\n
