The \u00abVictory Train\u00bb<\/strong> made a stop in Molodechno on July 7<\/strong>. Many people were looking forward to the event and greeted the excursion staff with a solemn rally. The event brought together representatives of the local vertical government, the leadership of the Belarusian Railways, and the public. The archivists came with their families.<\/p>\n

From the makeshift stage, words of gratitude were heard to the Soviet soldiers for salvation from fascism and for the peaceful sky above. The fallen heroes were honored with a minute of silence, and a flower-laying ceremony took place. After which the event participants were able to get acquainted with the interactive exhibition of the Train.<\/p>\n

The project, dedicated to the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War<\/strong>, consists of ten thematic cars, which represent the transition from one historical episode to another. The \u00abVictory Train\u00bb was created in Russia.<\/p>\n

The emotional excursion did not leave anyone indifferent. Once again I reminded you at what cost the victory was achieved and how important it is to value peace.<\/p>\n

– I was very impressed by the interactive exhibition \u00abVictory Train\u00bb. I am glad that modern technologies and techniques, a synthesis of design, engineering, director, animation and other solutions are also used in patriotic education. I am grateful that my son also traveled through the carriages of the unique train. I believe that it is especially important for the younger generation to learn from the lessons of the past. Not every schoolchild, reading a history textbook, fully understands what horrors are hidden in the written lines; meetings with living heroes of those events, for obvious reasons, are no longer available… Such an installation is a good way to convey the truth and horror of the Great Patriotic War: visiting each carriage, you read the emotions of those around you there are waxen people in it, you empathize with their pain and together rejoice at the Victory. Even if the characters in them are not alive, the emotions are real, sincere, executed in detail on their faces… And most importantly, the memory is alive. It\u2019s great that it can be preserved and transmitted in such an educational, touching and very necessary way in our time\u00bb, noted the director of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno Inna Pudakevich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

By the way, for those invited to the Train in the foyer of the railway station, Molodechno archivists, together with railway workers, prepared an exhibition in honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n
