On July 4, the International Round Table \u00ab80 Years of Peace. Belarus remembers\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Director of the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor D.V.Mukha<\/strong> addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the forum participants on the main holiday of the Republic of Belarus – Independence Day.<\/p>\n

The Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus E.M.Morgunova<\/strong>, in her welcoming speech, noted the special place that the history of the Great Patriotic War occupies in the life of our state.<\/p>\n

Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok<\/strong> presented a report on the topic \u00abRestoration of the city of Minsk in 1944\u20131950\u00bb<\/strong>. The report is based on archival documents from the funds of republican archival institutions of Belarus.<\/p>\n

The round table was attended by employees of academic institutions, the Scientific and Practical Center for the Problems of Strengthening Law and Order of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, the Historical Memory Foundation, veterans and participants of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
