The institution <strong>\u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive) organized a screening of the documentary film <strong>\u00abLiberation\u00bb<\/strong> for the team of the Ministry of Taxes and Taxation Inspectorate for the Novobelitsky district of Gomel, numbering 20 people.<\/p>\n<p>Director of the GAGom <strong>Andrei Nikolaevich Suschevich<\/strong> presented the documentary exhibition <strong>\u00abThe Unconquered Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> to the invited guests. This exhibition project is a significant contribution to the great work being carried out by archival institutions to preserve the historical memory of the events and participants of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the participants of the event, the director of the archive spoke about the project <strong>\u00abOpen Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could\u00bb<\/strong>, which was prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, where the story about the liberation of the cities of Belarus is told in chronological order.<\/p>\n<p>Before watching the documentary film <strong>\u00abLiberation\u00bb<\/strong>, the employees talked about the events of <strong>the Great Patriotic War<\/strong> (1941-1945) and the need to preserve historical memory.
