In order to involve Gomel students in the study of archival documents about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), the institution <strong>\u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> hosted the documentary exhibition \u00abUnconquered Gomel Region\u00bb on the basis of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. Thanks to this, more than 500 students of Gomel University had a unique opportunity to study in detail the archival documents and photographs presented at the exhibition, reflecting the events of those distant days in the history of our region, which left a deep imprint in the minds of millions of people.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition project \u00abThe Unconquered Gomel Region\u00bb is a significant contribution to the great work carried out by archival institutions to preserve the historical memory of the events and participants of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and takes on special significance on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazis invaders.<\/p>\n<p>For ease of perception, the exhibition is divided into blocks, where each archival document in the exhibition contains a brief annotation.
