And during the holiday period, the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign continues!<\/p>\n

On June 14, the state archive of the Brest region<\/strong> was visited by children studying at the \u00abFirst Step\u00bb child development center in Brest. Despite their young age (6-9 years), the children were very interested in the profession of archivist. The archive staff told the children about the archive and its activities in a playful way; the children visited the laboratory and archival storage, and at the end of the excursion they actively solved puzzles, anagrams and completed other tasks on archival topics.<\/p>\n

On June 19, the archive was visited by 8th grade students of the summer camp of secondary school No. 16 in Brest. During a sightseeing tour of the archive, the children were especially interested in the conditions for storing documents and the composition of the archive\u2019s holdings. After the excursion, quizzes were held with the children.<\/p>\n
