On June 19, 2024, as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb campaign, pupils of the children\u2019s health camp of the State Educational Institution \u00abGymnasium No. 4 of Mogilev\u00bb visited the institution \u00abState Archive of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the reading room, employees of the department for the scientific use of documents and information introduced the children to the history of archival affairs in the Mogilev region, the peculiarities of the work of archivists, as well as the opportunity to receive higher education under the conditions of targeted training in the field of archival affairs and office work.<\/p>\n

The children were shown the documentary film \u00abLiberation\u00bb, which was prepared by employees of the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents\u00bb (Dzerzhinsk) as part of the project \u00abOpen Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could,\u00bb dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n

The children were clearly shown the process of digital document processing. And at the end, they visited the archives, where they were able to find out the peculiarities of the conditions for storing documents.<\/p>\n
