{"id":1014313,"date":"2024-06-19T16:00:49","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T13:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1014313"},"modified":"2024-06-19T16:00:49","modified_gmt":"2024-06-19T13:00:49","slug":"a-patriotic-hour-echoes-of-war-was-held-in-the-state-archive-of-public-associations-of-the-gomel-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1014313","title":{"rendered":"A patriotic hour \u00abEchoes of War\u00bb was held in the state archive of public associations of the Gomel region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 19, 2024, on the eve of the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people, a patriotic hour \u00abEchoes of War\u00bb was held at the institution <strong>\u00abState Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by students of the state educational institution \u00abGymnasium No. 10 in Gomel\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>The students were presented with memories of veterans of the Great Patriotic War who participated in the defense of Gomel in 1941, personal files of members of the Gomel militia regiment, as well as documents indicating the damage caused by the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War and the post-war period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, as part of the meeting, archivists organized a screening of the documentary film \u00abLiberation\u00bb, prepared by the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents\u00bb, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, a sightseeing tour of the archive was held, during which the children visited exhibitions of archival documents and photographs \u00abWar does not have a woman\u2019s face\u00bb and \u00abHeroes of the Great Victory\u00bb, which are exhibited in the reading room of the state archive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/1-44.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1014314\" class=\"wp-image-1014314 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
