On June 18, 2024, as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb campaign, a meeting was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> with participants of the studio to prepare students for intellectual competitions and competitions in the subjects \u00abHistory of Belarus\u00bb and \u00abWorld History\u00bb of the Minsk City Institute for Educational Development.<\/p>\n

The head of the department of personal funds, Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, gave a tour of the archive, talked about its history, the composition and features of storing documents, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities, as well as the possibility of using archival documents in writing competitive research papers.<\/p>\n

During the excursion, the children got acquainted with the photo-documentary exhibitions of the National Archives \u00abThe world begins with childhood\u00bb, \u00abUnder the sign of quality\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Students visited the archives of personal funds, where they got acquainted with documents from the personal archives of state, party and public figures, participants in the Great Patriotic War. In the repository of funds of partisan formations Dorogush I.V. conducted a conversation on the history of the partisan movement and introduced them to the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award sheets, photo albums and other documents.<\/p>\n

During the excursion, studio participants actively answered questions from archive workers related to the history of Belarus. They were especially interested in the photographs, from which they were asked to identify historical events, name public and political figures, and recognize the architectural buildings of Minsk.<\/p>\n
