As part of the republican action \u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong>, on June 13, 2024, the institution \u00abState Archives of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> was visited by 8th grade students from secondary school No.31 in Mogilev<\/strong>, who were attending a summer health school camp.<\/p>\n

During the excursion, the leading archivist Svetlana Bryuzgina<\/strong> and the head of the department for ensuring the preservation of documents and funds Svetlana Bartsuleva<\/strong> introduced students to the history of the creation of the archive and the main directions of its activities. They talked about the archive funds and the specifics of working with them, about the conditions for storing documents, and the equipment of archival storage facilities. We focused the children\u2019s attention on the fact that the main task of archivists is to preserve the documentary heritage and give people the opportunity to get acquainted with archival documents. The guys also got acquainted with the exhibitions presented: Defense of the city of Mogilev, Partisan movement, 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Mogilev, Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

At the end of the excursion, guests got acquainted with the museum exhibition on the history of the party archive.<\/p>\n
