On June 12, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u00abThe Great Patriotic War in the fate of the Belarusian people (to the 80th anniversary of the Belarusian strategic offensive operation \u00abBagration\u00bb and the liberation of Belarus)\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The dean of the history department of the Belarusian State University, Doctor of History, Professor A.G.Kokhanovsky<\/strong>, as well as the deputy dean, head of the educational and scientific direction \u00abBelarusian studies, history of Belarus and the Belarusian diaspora\u00bb, head of the history laboratory, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech diaspora and migration department of history, Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor O.V.Solopova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the conference, the Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok spoke at the plenary session with a report \u00abFalse partisan formations on the territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The scientific part of the scientific and practical conference was attended by leading archivists of the department of personal funds of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, graduate students of T.I.Brileva<\/strong> with a report \u00abFinancial situation and provision of Belarusians evacuated from Poland to the BSSR in 1944-1947\u00bb. (section \u00abBelarus and the world during the period of post-war reconstruction\u00bb) and U.A.Kolobaev<\/strong> with a report \u00abAgitation and propaganda in the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb (section \u00abArmy and rear in the fight against Nazism. The military-strategic significance of Operation Bagration\u00bb). Researchers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan joined the work of the sections.<\/p>\n
