On June 6, representatives of the Belarus 3 TV channel began filming at the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAKFFD). Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher at the Republican Laboratory of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Institute of Ethnography and Folklore, Center for the Study of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus K.I.Remishevsky<\/strong>, Producer of the Executive Chief Editorial Office of the TV channel \u00abBelarus 3\u00bb of the General Production Center A.A.Ermolaeva<\/strong>, together with BGAKFFD, are working on creating documentaries for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, dedicated to front-line cameramen, directors, journalists, and photographers.<\/p>\n

Archive specialists provided chronicle materials.<\/p>\n

M.D.Romanova<\/strong> acted as a speaker, talking about the history of the archive and some technological processes: restoration of audiovisual documents, digitization, ensuring preservation. She also characterized the contribution of front-line cameraman M.S. Berov to the film chronicle of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

N.A.Petlitskaya<\/strong> in her interview spoke about the activities of front-line cameraman V.P.Tseslyuk, and especially highlighted his creation of the film chronicle \u00abParade of Belarusian Partisans in Minsk\u00bb (1944). Particular attention was paid to the film document \u00abOperation Zvezdochka\u00bb, filmed in the winter of 1944 in the Vitebsk region by cameraman M.I.Sukhova.<\/p>\n

M.V.Garelik<\/strong> highlighted the role of front-line cameraman I.N.Veinerovich in the formation and development of documentary filmmaking during the Great Patriotic War. The story emphasized the significance of his work in the creation of both partisan chronicles and reporting from the battle line.<\/p>\n

The program is planned for 5 episodes, the estimated release date for documentaries is September 2024.<\/p>\n
