On May 29, 2024, a working visit of the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov<\/strong> took place in Mogilev.<\/p>\n

The working meeting was attended by the first deputy head of the main department of justice of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Frolov S.A.<\/strong>, the head of the department of mandatory legal expertise, coordination of the activities of the \u00abOne Window\u00bb services, for archives and paperwork of the main department of justice of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Yu.S.Klintsova<\/strong>, the deputy head of the department office management, formation and preservation of the National Archive Fund of the Republic of Belarus Department Kochetkov\u0430 A.V.<\/strong><\/p>\n

O.L.Voinov visited the new building of the State Archive of the Mogilev Region on ul. K. Marksa, 23<\/strong>, where he familiarized himself with the completed works, listened to the representatives of the contracting organizations about the planned terms of delivery of the object. O.L.Voinov<\/strong> noted that more work has been done, but there is still a lot to be done, including the purchase of equipment, solving the issues of transferring funds.<\/p>\n

During the meeting with the staff of the State Archive of the Mogilev Region and the State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region, the Director of the Department listened to the reports of the heads of the archives, visited the archives, and familiarized himself with the working conditions of the archivists. The Director of the Department noted the importance of work to attract young specialists to the archive, including through targeted recruiting in higher education institutions. The archivists were given tasks for the nearest period and for the future.<\/p>\n

As part of the working visit, the director of the Department, O.L.Voinov<\/strong>, visited the Mogilev city archive, where he familiarized himself with the conditions of document storage, developed by the archive’s searchable database.<\/p>\n
