On May 28, a ceremonial meeting of the team was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as NARB), dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the creation of the archive. Deputy Director of NARB E.A. Stukanova<\/strong> congratulated the staff on the archive\u2019s birthday, thanked them for their fruitful work and expressed confidence that the archive will continue to develop and fulfill all the tasks assigned to it.<\/p>\n

Deputy Director of NARB S.V. Kulinok<\/strong> noted the high professionalism of the archive workers and their human qualities. He expressed the opinion that the archive, in addition to its main tasks, performs a number of important functions for society – cultural and educational, patriotic, scientific.<\/p>\n

On this holiday, NARB employees were awarded archive awards. For their conscientious attitude to work and active participation in the life of the archive, the archivists of the sector for work with public associations of the department of records management and formation of the National Archive Fund, A.M. Stasenko<\/strong> and A.S. Kryukovsky<\/strong>, were thanked by the NARB.<\/p>\n

Certificates of honor were awarded to the leading archivist of the sector for the examination of the value of documents and descriptions of affairs of state organizations of the department of scientific and technical processing of documents A.O. Mazurkevich<\/strong>, the leading archivist of the sector for the provision of information services to users and the popularization of documents of the department for the use of documents and information N.I. Solntseva<\/strong> and the head of the sector centralized accounting of the information retrieval systems department S.V. Bulatovskaya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

NARB workers are looking forward to the centenary anniversary of the archive, but in the meantime they are beginning to prepare for it in advance. Deputy Director of NARB E.A. Stukanova presented the NARB Book of Honor to the archive team. The first stage of filling it out was the placement of a section dedicated to archive workers who participated in the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
