Kupala\u2019s desire to serve Belarusian literature and culture is the link between the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) and the Yanka Kupala State Literary Museum<\/strong>, which celebrated its 80th anniversary on May 24, 2024.<\/p>\n

Created in 1944, when Belarus was being revived after liberation from the Nazi invaders, it became a tribute to the memory of the Belarusians to their \u00abPesnyar\u00bb – Yanka Kupala<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by the director of the BStAMA E.A.Makarenko<\/strong>, the director of the BStAKFFD A.N.Gonchar<\/strong>, representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Administration of the Central District of Minsk, the Union of Writers of Belarus, the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism, partners museum and colleagues. Among the guests of honor are relatives of Yanka Kupala.<\/p>\n

For several decades, BGAMLI and the Yanka Kupala State Literary Museum have been reliable partners in holding joint events, including exhibitions. From the BGAMLI funds, personal belongings of the poet, photographs, archival documents, including works by M.L.Tarasikava<\/strong>, the illustrator of Yanka Kupala\u2019s books, were provided for display at the Yanka Kupala Literary Museum.<\/p>\n

The BGAMLI team, headed by the director of the archive-museum E.A.Makarenko, expresses admiration for the activity and professionalism of the Literary Museum staff and wishes creative success and interested visitors!<\/p>\n
