On May 23, 2024, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference \u00abArchival Dialogue. To the 100th anniversary of the first All-Belarusian Conference of Archivists\u00bb<\/strong>. About 50 researchers from Belarus and Russia took part in the conference, which was held in a mixed off-line and on-line format.<\/p>\n

The conference participants were addressed with a welcoming speech by: Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov<\/strong>; Deputy Director of NARB E.A.Stukanova<\/strong>. The scientific event was moderated by S.V.Kulinok, Deputy Director of NARB<\/strong>, Candidate of Historical Sciences.<\/p>\n

The work of the conference was held in accordance with the chronological and thematic plan within the framework of the following problem fields: the influence of archival conferences on the development of archival science in Belarus; issues of use, storage and accounting of documents of the party complex (for the 95th anniversary of the Central Party Archive of the CPB); archeography and publication of twentieth-century documents; source research potential of archival documents on the modern history of Belarus and the states of the post-Soviet space; the contribution of archivists to the preservation, use and popularization of the historical heritage of Belarus; archival work in Belarus in the XX-XXI centuries: history, methodology, practice.<\/p>\n

The conference was attended by the head of the department of information, publication and use of documents of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art <\/strong>(hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI), candidate of historical sciences, associate professor V.P.Skok<\/strong>, whose scientific report \u00abDocuments on the personnel of the personal archives of participants of the Great The Great Patriotic War as a source of historical and biographical information\u00bb<\/strong> was presented on the agenda of section 3 \u00abThe Great Patriotic War as reflected by historical sources\u00bb. The emphasis in the study was also placed on the unique role of BGAMLI as a scientific and methodological center for working with documents from personal archives.<\/p>\n
