On May 22, 2024, at the National Historical Archive of Belarus<\/strong>, classes were held to improve the qualifications of employees of state archival institutions as part of the educational program \u00abModern approaches to organizing archival work in the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>. The classes are organized by the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of the Institute of Further Education of BSU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

First Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Olga Ledovskaya<\/strong> and Director of the Belarusian Scientific Research Institute of Document Management and Archival Affairs Andrei Rybakov<\/strong> held a round table for listeners \u00abModern trends in records management and archiving\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, A.Rybakov gave lectures in which he highlighted the main changes in the organization and management of office work in government agencies.<\/p>\n

Leading researcher at the Department for the Use of Documents and Information Vladimir Denisov<\/strong> told the audience about the history of archival work in the Belarusian lands, the history of the NIA of Belarus, the composition and features of the institution\u2019s funds, the most significant documents stored in the archive, as well as the main directions of its activities. An excursion was organized for the listeners, during which the guests became familiar with the structure of the scientific reference apparatus, the scanning of archival documents, as well as archival repositories. Guests were given a unique opportunity to view documents dating back centuries. The collections of the oldest documents, creating a special atmosphere of past centuries, caused real delight.<\/p>\n
