On May 16, 2024, a republican seminar \u00abGenocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War: historical and legal assessment\u00bb<\/strong> was held, organized by the General Prosecutor\u2019s Office, the Scientific and Practical Center of the department and the Central Committee of the NGO \u00abBelarusian Republican Youth Union\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus A.I.Shved<\/strong> and the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the public association \u00abBelarusian Republican Youth Union\u00bb A.S.Lukyanov<\/strong> addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech.<\/p>\n

Then a ceremonial laying of flowers took place at the monument to the underground fighters in Alexander Square. Activists from 32 regional and district organizations of the NGO \u00abBelarusian Republican Youth Union\u00bb took part in the seminar.<\/p>\n

The scientific part of the forum was attended by the Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok<\/strong>. He presented a report \u00abPunitive operations of the Nazis on the Belarusian-Russian border\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
