Employees of <strong>the Zonal State Archive in Polotsk<\/strong> joined the action, observed a minute of silence in memory of those killed in battle, and laid flowers in memory of the hero-liberators.<\/p>\n<p>On May 9, 2024, the celebration of Victory Day in Polotsk began with the \u00abBelarus Remembers!\u00bb procession. More than 1,000 people came with portraits of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers to take part in the procession.
