On May 8, 2024, at the Military Cemetery in Minsk<\/strong>, as part of the patriotic action \u00abPeople\u2019s Laying On\u00bb<\/strong>, an event dedicated to the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War was held. Representatives of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, republican archival institutions and public associations took part in the action. The delegation of archivists was headed by Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov. The State Institution \u00abNational Archive of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb was represented by the director of the archive A.K.Demyanuk, the chairman of the primary trade union organization of the archive T.A.Shevchenko<\/strong> and other employees of the NARB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Participants of the action laid flowers at the monument to the heroes who died during the Great Patriotic War and paid tribute to the memory of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters who fought for the liberation of Belarus.<\/p>\n

Workers in the archival industry of our country make a great contribution to preserving the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War, and archival documents reflect the special significance of Victory Day<\/strong> in the history of the Belarusian people.<\/p>\n
