On April 30, 2024, as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, a meeting was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> with students of secondary school No.206 named after A.M.Kizhevatov in Minsk<\/strong> and with the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Union of Border Service Veterans Sergei Vladimirovich Popov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Director of the archive Andrey Konstantinovich Demyanuk<\/strong> delivered a welcoming speech to the guests.<\/p>\n

The head of the department of personal funds Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush<\/strong> gave a tour of the archive, talked about its history, composition and features of storing documents, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities. During the excursion, the children got acquainted with photo-documentary exhibitions of the National Archives: \u00abChernobyl. Pain and memory\u00bb, \u00abHistory of the development of the electoral system of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb, \u00abSpace is ours!\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Students visited the archives of personal funds, where they got acquainted with documents from the personal archives of state, party and public figures, participants in the Great Patriotic War. In the repository of funds of partisan formations Dorogush I.V. conducted a conversation on the history of the partisan movement and introduced them to the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award lists, photo albums and other documents.<\/p>\n

The boys were especially interested in the combat leaflets of the partisan detachments. On the eve of the Victory Day holidays and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the children enthusiastically accepted the offer from the archive workers to prepare combat leaflets at school dedicated to close relatives who took part in the liberation of our republic.<\/p>\n
