On April 26, 2024, at the site of the State Institution \u00abNational Archive of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> an industry seminar-meeting \u00abTopical issues of office work and archival storage of documents\u00bb was held for heads of structural divisions and specialists of organizations that are part of the State Production Association \u00abBelenergo\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The head of the office management and formation department of the National Archive Fund of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus T.A.Shevchenko<\/strong> gave a report to the seminar participants on the procedure for creating files, transferring them to the organization\u2019s archive, destroying documents and files with expired storage periods.<\/p>\n

A tour of the archive was organized for the event participants. They visited the archives of partisan funds, where they became familiar with the conditions for storing documents, as well as documentary sources on the history of the partisan movement, the crimes of the German occupation authorities against the civilian population and the deportation of the population of the BSSR for forced labor in Germany. The guests also visited the archives of personal funds, where documents of government, socio-political and party leaders, scientists of Belarus and participants in the Great Patriotic War are stored.<\/p>\n

On the Day of the Chernobyl Tragedy, special attention was drawn to the documentary exhibition \u00abChernobyl. Pain and memory\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Familiarization with the activities of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus aroused professional interest among the seminar participants.<\/p>\n
