For more than half a century, the open joint-stock company \u00abMogilevkhimvolokno\u00bb<\/strong> has been the only large producer of dimethyl terephthalate, PET polyester granulate, polyester fibers and threads, synthetic films and the main supplier of raw materials for light industry in the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n

The Mogilev production association \u00abKhimvolokno\u00bb was created by order of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the USSR dated July 21, 1975 No.453. The production association also included the Mogilev artificial fiber plant named after. Kuibysheva.<\/p>\n

From its very creation, the Mogilevkhimvolokno production association was equipped with machines and equipment for the production of synthetic fibers purchased in the West. One of the largest representatives of the UK chemical industry, the Polyspinners consortium, was chosen as the main partner.<\/p>\n

The construction of the plant itself was declared a \u00abKomsomol construction project\u00bb, and the plant became a city-forming enterprise. The construction of the plant gave impetus to the development of Mogilev – the city received financial resources to expand the housing stock, the network of medical institutions, educational and cultural institutions.<\/p>\n

European quality standards have laid a good scientific and technical basis for certification of the association’s products with the state quality mark of the USSR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As part of the Year of Quality<\/strong>, the institution \u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> presents for review documents on the certification of goods with the state quality mark of the USSR, Lavsan-M fiber dyed in the mass in black<\/strong>, which was not inferior to world analogues from the company Hoechst (Germany) and Imperial Chemical Industries (Great Britain) ).<\/p>\n
