The scientific and practical workshop was organized with the support of the Federal Archive Agency<\/strong> (Rosarkhiv), the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Affairs<\/strong> (VNIIDAD), the Russian State University for the Humanities<\/strong> (RGGU), the Russian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation<\/strong> (RGANTD) and the Russian State Archive of Literature and art<\/strong> (RGALI).<\/p>\n

In addition to Russian scientists and practitioners in the field of archival science and records management, the conference was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Sultanate of Oman, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, France, and South Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the plenary session and work in sections and round tables, a wide range of issues related to document management, preparation of publications of archival documents, intersectoral interaction in preserving documentary memory, modern technologies for ensuring the safety of archival documents, training in the field of documentation support for management and archival affairs, other topical issues of science and practice of archival affairs.<\/p>\n

The archival industry of Belarus was represented at the conference by junior researchers of the document management department of BelNIIDAD V.A.Barbarchuk<\/strong> and A.A.Nedashkovskaya<\/strong>, who made presentations \u00abProtecting organization documents from forgery: modern challenges and methods of protection\u00bb and \u00abThe influence of international experience on the development of document science in Belarus \u00ab(remotely), Director of BelNIIDAD A.E.Rybakov<\/strong> (report \u00abRelevance of the development of the terminological apparatus of regulatory legal acts and its correct application in the context of the introduction of electronic documents in the activities of government bodies and other organizations\u00bb, remotely), as well as Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic Belarus E.A.Stukanova<\/strong> (report \u00abAcquisition of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus at the present stage\u00bb).<\/p>\n

At the end of the sections and round tables, discussions were held on the most pressing issues, as well as master classes on the topics \u00abManufacturing protective packaging for storing photographic documents\u00bb and \u00abIdentification of the most common photographic printing techniques\u00bb.<\/p>\n

At the end of the work, the conference participants expressed gratitude to the conference organizers for the high level of its organization and conduct.<\/p>\n
