{"id":1012730,"date":"2024-04-16T13:10:08","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T10:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1012730"},"modified":"2024-04-16T13:10:08","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T10:10:08","slug":"conducting-a-lesson-for-9th-grade-students-of-the-state-educational-institution-secondary-school-no-37-of-grodno-as-part-of-the-archives-to-school-event-at-the-institution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1012730","title":{"rendered":"Conducting a lesson for 9th grade students of the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No.37 of Grodno\u00bb as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb event at the institution \u00abState Archives of the Grodno Region\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 15, 2024, as part of the <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the institution <strong>\u00abState Archive of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> held a lesson on the topic <strong>\u00abThe tragedy of the civilian population during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong> for 9th grade students of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No.37 of Grodno\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students were shown documents reflecting the policy of the occupation authorities and the facts of genocide of the population of the Grodno region during the Great Patriotic War: cards of prisoners of war who were in German camps, work certificates of citizens sent to work in Germany, certificates of ghetto prisoners. Also, the children were presented with documents from the regional Commission for the Investigation and Establishment of Crimes and Atrocities of the Nazi Invaders: acts of damage, eyewitness testimony, lists of destroyed citizens and settlements.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibitions of documents on display in the reading room dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War aroused great interest among students: <strong>\u00abThere was a people\u2019s war.
