From April 1 to April 5, 2024, as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb campaign, the State Archive of the Brest Region<\/strong> was visited by 5 groups of students in grades 9-11 of the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No. 4 of Brest\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Employees of the department for the use and publication of documents told students about the development of the archival industry, the history and composition of documents from the state archive of the Brest region. They familiarized themselves in more detail with documents on the history of the Great Patriotic War, and also showed videos \u00abWe brought this day closer as best we could,\u00bb prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents.<\/p>\n

During an introductory tour of the archive, students visited the archive storage facility, a laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents.<\/p>\n

At the end, the students were given a quiz \u00abArchive – a repository of documentary memory\u00bb, during which the children showed how well they knew archival work.<\/p>\n
