On April 3-4, 2024, a working visit of the Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov<\/strong> took place. in Polotsk and Vitebsk in order to discuss the issue of organizing an exhibition on the history of Belarusian statehood and parliamentarism and the events of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in the summer of 2024, as well as familiarization with the progress of repair work in the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region<\/strong> and the Zonal State Archive in Polotsk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The working trip was attended by the head of the main department of justice of the Vitebsk regional executive committee S.P.Konopelko<\/strong>, deputy head of the department of state registration of commercial (non-profit) organizations, legal examination and organization of the work of archival institutions of the main department of justice of the Vitebsk regional executive committee O.V.Pashkevich<\/strong> and Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus A.K.Demyanyuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As part of the preparation and opening of the exhibition project, which will be presented at the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia at Polotsk State University. Euphrosyne of Polotsk had a meeting with the first vice-rector of the university O.V.Golubeva<\/strong>. and employees of the educational institution. The concept of the exhibition project was discussed, as well as its filling with archival documents from the funds of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, the National Historical Archive of Belarus and the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents.<\/p>\n

During a working visit to the Zonal State Archive in Polotsk, O.L.Voinov got acquainted with the current renovation of the reading room, working conditions, updated material and technical base, and work processes.<\/p>\n

During a working visit to the State Institution \u00abArchive of the Polotsk District and the City of Polotsk\u00bb, the director of the archive T.N.Peryshkina<\/strong>. spoke about the conditions for storing documents on personnel and liquidated organizations of the Polotsk region and the work of archivists.<\/p>\n

On April 4 in Vitebsk, the director of the Department of Archives and Records Management visited all four archival sites of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, paying special attention to the completion of the reconstruction of the archive building at Frunze Avenue, 90A.<\/p>\n

At a working meeting held at this site with the head of the main department of justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee S.P.Konopelko<\/strong>, the director of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region T.M.Svistunova<\/strong>, representatives of the contractor, the stages of work and commissioning of the facility in the first half of this year were discussed. The director of the archive informed about the already transferred funds and documents, about plans for further acquisition of the archive.<\/p>\n

Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus A.K.Demyanuk presented to the director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region the popular scientific publication \u00abArchives. Nothing but the truth\u00bb<\/strong> (a joint project of the Ministry of Justice and BelTA).<\/p>\n
