On March 27-28, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u00abUnified Memory is Faithful\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War<\/strong>. The event, built in the form of a dialogue, brought together historians, teachers, museum experts, and archivists.<\/p>\n

The report \u00abAttribution of film documents from the period of liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders from the funds of BGAKFFD\u00bb<\/strong> was made by the head of the department of state accounting and scientific reference apparatus of BGAKFFD M.D.Romanova<\/strong>. In her report, she highlighted the department\u2019s experience in attributing film documents from the Great Patriotic War period, and also gave examples of the results of such activities. In particular, the object of the study was the film chronicle material \u00abThe Liberation of Mozyr and Kalinkovich\u00bb <\/strong>(architect No. 35_00723). By comparing the cameraman’s filming and editing sheets and screen material, it was possible to determine the names of the operators involved in the filming: D.Ibragimov<\/strong> and E.Mukhin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Also on March 27, the opening of the second part of the exhibition \u00abUnified Memory is Faithful\u00bb took place. The exhibition is dedicated to the combat interaction of Belarusian partisans with the Red Army in the battles for Belarus. Topics such as the rescue of civilians – prisoners of the Ozarich camps in March 1944 by the 65th Army of the 1st Belorussian Front, the struggle of partisans against punitive forces in the spring-summer of 1944, the liberation of populated areas of the republic by partisans or partisans together with the army are reflected. This is a long-term joint project of BGAKFFD and the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, for the organization of which the archive provided background documents containing memories of partisans and Red Army soldiers about the liberation of the territory of Belarus.<\/p>\n
