The event was held as part of the <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign.<\/p>\n<p>In the reading room of the archive, the children got acquainted with the history of the archive; activities that archivists engage in. For schoolchildren, a museum exhibition of equipment used by archivists was presented, as well as an exhibition of the most rare documents from archival funds.<\/p>\n<p>Students also took a sightseeing tour to the document digitization laboratory, where they were able to see the process of scanning and digital processing of archival files.
