{"id":1012370,"date":"2024-03-27T16:46:53","date_gmt":"2024-03-27T13:46:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1012370"},"modified":"2024-03-27T16:46:53","modified_gmt":"2024-03-27T13:46:53","slug":"conducting-a-lesson-for-10th-grade-students-as-part-of-the-archives-for-school-campaign-at-the-institution-state-archives-of-the-grodno-region-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1012370","title":{"rendered":"Conducting a lesson for 10th grade students as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign at the institution \u00abState Archives of the Grodno Region\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 27, 2024, as part of the <strong>\u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the institution <strong>\u00abState Archives of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> held a lesson on the topic <strong>\u00abThe Nazi occupation regime in the city\u00bb<\/strong> for students of the 10th grade of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No.37 of Grodno\u00bb Grodno\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Archive staff told schoolchildren about the composition of documents and the main directions of the institution\u2019s work; showed the children unique documentary materials of the German occupation authorities: cards of prisoners of war who were in German camps, work certificates of citizens sent to work in Germany, certificates of ghetto prisoners, workers&#8217; profiles, notices of recruitment. Students also became acquainted with documents of partisan and underground brigades operating in the Grodno region during the years of Nazi occupation.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the students were presented with exhibitions of documents on display in the reading room of the archive dedicated to the events and participants of the Great Patriotic War: \u00abWe brought this day closer as best we could..\u00bb., \u00abThere was a people\u2019s war.
