Archivists from Molodechno laid flowers at the memorial complex \u00abIn Memory of Past Wesaks\u00bb in the village of Snezhkovo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 22, on the day of remembrance of the<strong>Khatyn tragedy<\/strong>, employees of the<strong>Zonal State Archives in Molodechno<\/strong>visited the territory of the memorial complex<strong>\u00abIn memory of past vesaks\u00bb<\/strong>near the village <strong>Snezhkovo, Vileika district<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The memorial opened on June 30, 2009. It consists of 13 named boulders (according to the number of village councils), with the names of settlements that disappeared from the map of the area during the Great Patriotic War. Among them are those that repeated the fate of Khatyn &#8211; Lyubcha, Borki, Rabtsovo, Klyuevo, Yanovo.<\/p>\n<p>The memorable place does not leave anyone indifferent: the mournful sculptural compositions and the phantom image of the village chill the soul. Representatives of the archive laid flowers at the memorial sign and honored the victims with a minute of silence.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the number of burned villages in the Vileyka region has been established &#8211; there are 96 of them.
