March 21, 2024 on the basis of <strong>secondary school No.7 in Novogrudok<\/strong> a lesson was held for 7th grade students dedicated to <strong>the Day of the Khatyn tragedy<\/strong>, the memory of all the burned villages of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n<p>During the lesson, the children got acquainted with archival documents telling about the crimes of the Nazi invaders on the territory of Novogrudok during the war, including the facts of the extermination of the civilian population of the city and region, the destruction of the Jewish community, the burning of completely or partially populated areas during punitive actions. Schoolchildren were also shown a virtual documentary exhibition dedicated to the 980th anniversary of Novogrudok, which presented documents and photographs reflecting the main milestones in the history of the city, its attractions and the most important events in the development of Novogrudok at the present stage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1-60.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1054154\" class=\"wp-image-1054154 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The institution \u00abZonal State Archives in Novogrudok\u00bb continues to interact with educational institutions within the framework of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb campaign.
