In 2023, as part of the Year of Peace and Creation, the state archives of the region have already collaborated with trade unions in a series of events – thematic living rooms \u00abARCHIVATIVE: history in faces\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the BSAFPSD became participants in the themed living rooms. From the funds of this archive, a film was presented about the celebration by the public of Vitebsk of the 50th anniversary of the People’s Artist of the USSR Alexander Ilyinsky, who was a legend of the theater. Y. Kolas; audio recordings with the voices of the poet Rygor Baradulin and the writer Vladimir Korotkevich.<\/p>\n

In pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of October 5, 2023 No. 316 \u00abOn the preparation and holding of festive events,\u00bb the BSAFPSD, within the framework of the \u00abOpen Film Archive,\u00bb created the project \u00abLiberation of the Cities of Belarus.\u00bb The project is presented with unique newsreels.<\/p>\n

The social partnership between the archives and the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions has continued. The guests of honor and participants of the VII plenum of the trade union, who were present on March 20 in the large hall of the military unit 5524 of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were able for the first time in Vitebsk to see exclusive footage of a documentary film – a newsreel from 1944, dedicated to the liberation of Vitebsk from the Nazi invaders. More than 80 people took part in the plenum. They highly appreciated the work of BSAFPSD and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.<\/p>\n
