On March 13, 2024, on the eve of the national holiday of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, the institution \u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> took part in the dialogue platform \u00abThe Constitution of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb, which took place at the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No. 75 of Gomel\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The speakers of the event were: member of the public association \u00abMilitary Intelligence Veterans\u00bb Shevchenko A.I., senior researcher at the institution \u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb Drozdova A.M., graduate student of the State University named after. F.Skorina Denisenko N.V. Moderator: history teacher of the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No. 75 of Gomel\u00bb O.A. Acceptable.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the event is to instill a sense of pride in their country, respect for the Constitution of the state, as well as the formation of a civil-patriotic position in children!<\/p>\n

The speakers congratulated the participants of the dialogue platform on a significant date in the life of every person – Constitution Day. Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus is a public holiday that has its own history. It was emphasized that on March 15, 1994, citizens made a choice in favor of preserving and strengthening the traditions and values of the Belarusian people and supported a new stage in the development of the state.<\/p>\n

During the dialogue platform, the participants, together with the invited guests, discussed and speculated in a lively dialogue about the importance of the Constitution in the life of every person, talked about the history of the creation of the first Constitution in a sovereign republic and constitutional development in our country at the present stage. The key emphasis during the conversation was on preserving the historical continuity of generations: nurturing a caring attitude towards the historical past and present, forming the spiritual and moral qualities of the personality of the younger generation. The dialogue turned out to be constructive and meaningful.<\/p>\n

Taking this opportunity, senior researcher at the institution \u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb A.M. Drozdova invited schoolchildren to visit the regional archive, where the children will be given a tour and will be introduced to the history of the creation of the state institution, its main areas of activity, as well as the composition of the stored documents.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the experts summed up the results within the above topic, and also called on the participants of the dialogue platform to appreciate, remember and be proud of their heritage. Students actively participated in the discussion of the topic of the event, not missing the opportunity to ask the speakers all their questions. All questions were answered comprehensively.<\/p>\n
