{"id":1011633,"date":"2024-02-26T13:59:12","date_gmt":"2024-02-26T10:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1011633"},"modified":"2024-02-26T13:59:12","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T10:59:12","slug":"conducting-a-lesson-for-9th-grade-students-as-part-of-the-archives-for-school-campaign-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1011633","title":{"rendered":"Conducting a lesson for 9th grade students as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 22, 2024, as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb campaign, the institution <strong>\u00abState Archive of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> held a lesson on the topic \u00abHistorical and cultural heritage of the Grodno region\u00bb for 9th grade students of the State Educational Institution \u00abGymnasium No. 2 of Grodno\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Archive staff told schoolchildren about the history of its creation, the composition of documents and the specifics of the institution\u2019s activities; and also demonstrated unique documentary materials that contain information about significant historical events of the 20th century that took place in the Grodno region. The students were shown a social advertising video \u00abGrodno\u00bb, prepared by the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>In the laboratory for restoration, binding and repair of documents, students observed the process of restoring paper media.
