On January 24, the opening of the exhibition \u00abArtistic 85. Posters and photographs\u00bb<\/strong> took place at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, marking the beginning of the anniversary year. The history of the Museum begins on January 24, 1939<\/strong>, when the resolution of the Council of People’s Commissars of the BSSR \u00abOn the organization of an art gallery in Minsk\u00bb<\/strong> was issued.<\/p>\n

The exhibition display consists of 30 posters and 35 photographs, including 12 from the collections of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, which reflect the most significant pages of museum history since 1939.<\/p>\n

General Director of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus Anna Vladimirovna Kononova delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the exhibition; Director of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War Vladimir Sergeevich Voropaev<\/strong>; Director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko<\/strong>; leading archivist of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents Mikhail Vladimirovich Garelik<\/strong>; People’s Artist of Belarus Ivan Yakimovich Misko<\/strong>, famous cultural and artistic figures of Belarus.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is located in the Main Building of the Museum and will last until March 24, 2024.<\/p>\n
