January 19, 2024 Head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok<\/strong> took part in the International Round Table \u00abGenocide of the Belarusian People\u00bb<\/strong>. The organizers of the forum were: the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, the educational institution \u00abInstitute of Advanced Training and Retraining of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb and the state institution \u00abScientific and Practical Center for Problems of Strengthening Law and Order of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the first part of the scientific event, a dialogue platform was held between members of the temporary scientific team and performers of the research work \u00abGenocide of the civilian population of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War: historical and legal assessment\u00bb S.V.Kulinok presented a report on the topic of his research area \u00abPunitive operations of the Nazis on the Belarusian-Russian borderland. Documents on the facts of genocide in the funds of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and foreign archives\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The work of the round table continued with a plenary session. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus D.Yu.Gora<\/strong> addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of preserving historical truth and memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Education, Culture and Science, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor I.A.Marzalyuk<\/strong> presented a report on the topic \u00abResults of new research into the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and the post-war period\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor A.I.Swed<\/strong> spoke about the results of the investigation into the criminal case of the genocide of the Belarusian people.<\/p>\n

Executive Director of the Historical Memory Foundation N.V.Selyukina<\/strong> made a report on the prosecution of Lithuanian collaborators in the USSR in the post-war period.<\/p>\n
