On January 19, 2024, as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, a meeting was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> with students from school No.20 in Minsk named after G.V. Bulatsky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The director of the archive, A.K. Demyanuk<\/strong> delivered a welcoming speech to the students.<\/p>\n

The head of the department of personal funds Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush<\/strong> gave a tour of the archive, talked about its history, composition and features of storing documents, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities. During the excursion, the children got acquainted with the photo-documentary exhibition of the National Archives, \u00abThe Land of Courage and Glory\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Students visited the archive of funds of partisan formations, as well as the archive of funds of personal origin.<\/p>\n

In 2023, school No.20 in Minsk was named after Grigory Vasilyevich Bulatsky<\/strong> – scientist, dean of the Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, laureate of the Union of Journalists of the USSR, participant of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

As part of the meeting, an exhibition of documents from G.V. Bulatsky\u2019s personal collection was prepared, which aroused great interest among the children.<\/p>\n

They said that they were searching for biographical information about him and were planning to set up an exhibition dedicated to Grigory Vasilyevich. To help with the design of the school exposition, employees of the personal collections department prepared photocopies of documents from G.V. Bulatsky\u2019s personal collection, which were solemnly presented by the director of the archive, A.K. Demyanuk.<\/p>\n
